Grant Research Committee assists governmental agencies, businesses, and private individuals in Effingham County to research gray opportunities on an as needed basis. Their committee no longer meets on a regular basis.

- Research and Promote Business Retention and Growth
- Administer Business Revolving Loan Fund
- Facilitate Business Contacts
- Grant Research – assisting governmental agencies, businesses and private individuals in Effingham County to research grant opportunities.
