Election Night Reporting
The Effingham County Clerk’s office uses a service to report results on election night. The link provides voters with in-depth results which is displayed in several ways. Website totals will be updated as new numbers become available. Election Day totals from the polls will be posted throughout the evening.
Per Illinois election law, results will NOT be final until 14 days after the election. This allows for any vote by mail ballots to be counted and the processing of any provisional ballots.
