Genealogy records can be obtained in the office of the County Clerk in person or through a written request by mail. Certified copy may be obtained by anyone doing family history. State law restricts public access to the vital records; however, the public may access the indexes.

Fees for Genealogy Records

Copies of vital records used for genealogy purposes are full price. Pricing is as follows:

Fee for Certified Copy of Birth Record for genealogy purposes:

  • $15.00 for the first copy

Fee for Certified Copy of Death Record for genealogy purposes:

  • $15.00 for the first copy

Fee for Certified Copy of Marriage Record for genealogy purposes:

  • $20.00 for the first copy

There is NO search fee for genealogy
