Job Description:

The Effingham County Probation Department is seeking a Behavioral Health Counselor to join our team to provide part time Behavioral and Mental Health Services to clients participating in the Mental Health Court Program.

We offer:

  • $35.00 per hour
  • 20 hours per week
  • Weekday hours, no holidays or weekends

Job type: Part Time, Self Employed Contract

Operating Hours:

  • Monday to Friday (8 a.m.- 4 p.m.- 4/days per week/ 9 a.m. – 5 p.m. 1/day per week)

License/Certification/Qualifications:

  • LSW, LCPC or LCSW
  • 5 Years of Experience
  • Preference given to those who have experience working with justice involved individuals

Work Location:

  • In Person- Effingham County Government Center, 120 W. Jefferson Ave., Suite 102, Effingham, IL 62401
  • Remote Work- to be negotiated
