Effingham County awarded USDA Rural Business Development Grant
On Tuesday, September 15, 2026, the Effingham County Economic Development Advisory Board was presented with a check from the USDA in the amount of $99,000.00 as a part of the Revolving Loan Fund awarded from their Rural Business Development Grant application. The Rural Business Development Grant provides federal funding to government entities as a method of supporting economic growth in rural areas.
For more information, please visit the Effingham County Board webpage to review the Revolving Loan Fund brochure or attend an Economic Development Advisory Board meeting on the first Tuesday of the month at 12pm.
Qualified businesses are encouraged to complete the Revolving Loan Fund application found on the Effingham County Board website and submit to the County Board office at countyboard@effinghamcountyil.gov.
