County Board Accepting Letters of Interest for Airport Commission Appointment
The Effingham County Board is accepting letters of interest from any persons in the general public with interest in appointment to the Effingham County Airport Commission. Letters, along with resume, should be submitted to the Effingham County Board office on or before Friday, November 14, 2025 at 4pm.
Of the letters received, County Board members will review for nomination by petition and be submitted for selection at the County Board meeting on Monday, November 17, 2025 at 4pm in the boardroom of the County Building located at 101 N. 4th St., Effingham, IL.
The County Board will also accept any petitions of nominees signed by 2% of the voters of the county (490 signatures) to be considered at the County Board meeting.
Person appointed will serve the remaining term to expire June 30, 2026.
