NOTICE OF COUNTY BOARD DISTRICT F VACANCY _ EFFINGHAM COUNTY
The Effingham County Republican Central Committee along with the Effingham County Board is seeking candidates for a soon to be vacant seat on the Effingham County Board, District F. Current board member, Elizabeth Huston’s last day in office will be July 15, 2024. The vacancy will be filled by appointment at the Effingham County Board meeting scheduled on July 15, 2024.
Persons seeking to fill this vacancy must reside in Effingham County, District F and meet any and all statutory requirements to be a county board member. The member appointed to fill this vacancy will serve until the upcoming General Election and will begin upon the date appointment by the Effingham County Board. Applicants must be from the same political party as the previous officeholder, which for District F is the Republican Party.
