County Board Chairman to be presented with flag from Daughters of the American Revolution
The Ann Crooker St. Clair chapter, Daughters of the American Revolution (DAR) received a grant to honor the 250th anniversary of America.
The Chapter chose to acquire four special commemorative flags. The flags will be presented to Mike Schutzbach (Mayor of Effingham), Josh Douthit (Effingham County Board Chairperson), Police Chief Kurt Davis, and Fire Chief Brant Yochum on April 29th, 2026 at 2PM at City Hall. A short ceremony to present and raise the flag will take place, subject to weather.
Members of the public are welcome to attend the presentation.
