Notice of Bridge Letting
Sealed proposals for a bridge replacement (Section 20-13113-00-BR) will be received at the office of the County Engineer of Effingham County, 101 North Fourth Street, Suite 304, Effingham, Illinois until 10:00 am, July 11, 2025. Proposals will be opened and read publicly at that time.
The improvement is located along TR 285 (225th Ave), approximately three miles east of Mason. The proposed improvement consists of construction of a 35 foot span aluminum corrugated structural plate box culvert, along with approach roadways and other incidental work required to complete the improvement.
Plans and proposal forms will be available in the office of the County Engineer, Effingham County Highway Department, 101 North Fourth Street, Suite 304, Effingham, Illinois. Proposals will only be issued to pre-qualified bidders.
Per provisions, all proposals must be accompanied by a proposal guaranty and the awarding authority reserves the right to waive technicalities and to reject any or all proposals.
