Opioid funding public hearing scheduled October 24, 2024
On Thursday, October 24, 2024, the Effingham County Board will be hosting a public hearing in regards to opioid settlement funding. The Board will be seeking feedback from county social service organizations and the general public on the best use of funding for Effingham County residents.
Organizations who are interested in submitting a proposal for use of funding can find additional information on the County Board section of the Effingham County website or click this link: Opioid Funding
Proposals are required to meet one or more of the approved remediation uses as outlined in the nine (9) core strategies set forth through the Illinois Opioid Allocation Agreement.
