DESCRIPTION:911 Mission Statement\nTo ensure that anyone within the geographic confines of Effingham County can dial 911 and ask for emergency assistance from a trained Telecommunicator and that Telecommunicator will have the vital information available to them so that they can dispatch the requested or appropriate public safety entity in an effective and efficient manner. \nThe Emergency Telephone System Board (ETSB) is responsible for the implementation and operation of the Enhanced 911 system for Effingham County.
