SUMMARY:Emergency Telephone System Board Meeting
DESCRIPTION:911 Mission Statement\nTo ensure that anyone within the geographic confines of Effingham County can dial 911 and ask for emergency assistance from a trained Telecommunicator and that Telecommunicator will have the vital information available to them so that they can dispatch the requested or appropriate public safety entity in an effective and efficient manner. \nThe Emergency Telephone System Board (ETSB) is responsible for the implementation and operation of the Enhanced 911 system for Effingham County. The ETSB in partnership with the Effingham County Sheriff’s Department and the Effingham City Police Department Public Safety Answering Points work together to provide the best possible service for citizens of Effingham County. \nThe 911 Board meets the third Tuesday every month at 12:00pm in the Boardroom on the 3rd floor of the County Building\, 101 N. 4th Street\, Effingham\, IL  62401.
