Job Description:
The Effingham County Probation Department is hiring a full-time DUI Court Supervision Monitor/Public Service Work Coordinator.
DUI Court Supervision Monitor responsibilities include providing community supervision to offenders receiving a supervision disposition such as conducting interviews, verifying information collected, developing and monitoring effective community supervision strategies and responding to violations.
Public Service Work Coordinator responsibilites include recruitment and monitoring of public service work sites as well as placement and monitoring of offenders at these sites for purpose of completing court ordered community service hours.
Qualified applicants should possess strong communication skills, computer skills, organizational skills, ability to multi-task, and willingness to learn case management software. The successful applicant will also need to be familiar with general office equipment, have the ability to be flexible with job assignments and adhere to confidentiality requirements.
Compensation of $23.85 per hour ($43,407.00 annually) and set by local ordinance. Health, Dental, and Vision available. IMRF participation.
Hours of work are typically 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. Monday-Friday. Infrequent evenings and/or weekends (depending on work assignments).
